Humothy's TOP 5 festivals this summer
From Brighton to London to Netherlands, street-photographer Humothy selected his Top 5 festivals this summer:
Lovebox Festival (Gunnersbury Park, London 13-14 July)
With highly regarded artists including Skepta, Anderson. Paak, Bonobo and more.
I’m intrigued to see Childish Gambino after realising the latest this is America video. Really excited to see how his creativity will be converted on stage at Lovebox festival.
The line up at Lovebox Festival 2018 is definitely going to be a shut down.
Wireless Festival (Finsbury Park, London 6-8 July)
Wireless Festival is bringing in quite a few local names in to the event this year. From god father of Grime Wiley and to the man who's on a come up J Hus, and even inviting the beautiful voice of Mabel. You can surly get a vibe of the diverse music scene in London.
Along side with artists I’m looking forward to see for the first time like Russ, Post Malone, 6lack. Wireless is something not to miss out this year.
Brighton & Hove Pride Festival (Brighton, 3-5 Aug)
As an alumni of University of Brighton, it always brings good energy whenever I make a visit. The pride itself surly enhances the happy atmosphere celebrating who we are. Having Britney Spears to headline for the weekend, sure tickets would go fast!
Bestival (Lulworth Estate, Dorset 2-5 Aug)
Bestival is a combination of good food, amazing music, and unforgettable experiences. This camping festival let’s you explore yourself while having fun. Artists including Sir David Rodigan, Jorja Smith and even Mike Skinner into the mix this year.
This would be perfect for me to get away from London for the weekend.
Woo Hah! Festival (Beekse Bergen, Hilvarenbeek 13-15 July)
As a huge fan of the hip-hop/R'n'B culture. Woo Hah! Festival in Holland is providing me with I’m looking for. A$AP Rocky along with J.Cole head line for the weekend with creatives like Snakehips, Action Bronson and Giggs in support. Hilvarenbeek going to be a fascinating place to visit with my camera!
